Yep, a new look for both the Journal and Forums. I know it has been a while since I last posted but things have been pretty hectic around here. Besides the usual flu season and trying to sell the house I think the stress has both of us a bit wired, our nerves are shot. The housing market sucks and it’s kind of discouraging, as we use to say in the 70’s, it’s a real downer man. I haven’t been posting in the forums, heck I haven’t been doing much of nothing, our life seems to be on hold right now. Hopefully we’ll either sell the house or just snap out of it and get on with our lives. Hope you guys enjoy the new look, no telling how long it will last.

At least I think I’m finished with the forum redesign. I know some of you think it’s a tad bright so I made some small changes. I think I’ll use this Blog as a form of news page for the forum, you know, site news, holiday announcements, rants, etc... Since we don’t have a CMS this may work just as well, won’t know till we try. Don’t forget the Comments work on these pages, so post here or in the forum.

I’m still using RapidWeaver but this time I just wanted to clean up the entire site. I’ve had the earthy tones for over 7 years now. Maybe it’s time to move on, help distinguish us from the old site. So here it is, love it or hate it, let me know. We’re still trying to sell our house, it has been over a year now since we put it on the market. This always happens to me, just like when I have to replace a water heater or a power tool, I head off to the supply stores and realize it’s Christmas time and all the dumb asses are out to shop or return things. It just seems I’m the only one in the store to perform normal everyday duties, it just so happens it’s a holiday, sigh. My point is, when we finally decide to move all this media hype has killed everything, the stupid public eats it up and the media just keeps playing the doomsday card. I swear, I hate market analysts, talk about manipulating the market place. Oops, went off track, anyhoo, hope you like the new look of the site.
